This is a thought-provoking post on the concept of jobs and where they are obsolete. Our concept of “job” is a recent invention (relative to humanity), and perhaps short-lived. We should find a different way. The author also links to the recent Jaron Lanier article, which is worth a read, though you can skip the intro.
